A 520-bed,
1,100,000 square foot regional healthcare campus. Owned by MetroNational,
the hospital is operated through a strategic alliance with Memorial
Hermann Healthcare System. Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital
is currently undergoing a $92 million capital expansion project
that consists of a new 9 story medical tower, the renovation
and expansion of the hospital’s existing facilities and
a new 1600 car parking garage. When completely finished in 2003,
the tower will have 242 additional beds, an emergency department,
an inpatient operating room and intensive-care unit. Final renovations
will be complete in 2004.
