9821 Renovations

MetroNational is making major upgrades to the first and second floors at 9821 Katy Freeway, enhancing functionality while elevating the overall aesthetic.

The renovation project has begun with an estimated duration of 10 months. Construction will occur in phases to minimize disruption. Phase I will include the skybridge and surrounding landscape and hardscape, followed by Phase II, which will address the exterior curtain wall, primary entrances, and additional outdoor improvements. The building will remain open and accessible throughout, with a temporary overhead walkway and construction fencing in place to ensure a safe, seamless experience for tenants and visitors.

Renovated conference room and the addition of a new large-format meeting space provide greater flexibility for team gatherings, client presentations, and collaborative events.

BUILDING ACCESS & ALTERNATE TRAVEL PATHS – PHASE II

Effective Monday, July 27, 2026, the following access changes will be in place as part of Phase II:

All tenants, visitors, and deliveries must enter and exit the building through the Skybridge Entrance.

The Main Lobby entrance/exit will be temporarily closed.

When parking in the garage, access to the building will require proceeding to the third floor of the garage and entering through the Skybridge Entrance.

Please refer to the map outlining construction zones and alternate travel routes. On-site signage will be posted throughout the property to assist with navigation.

CURRENT

Phase I is nearing completion. The second-floor skybridge relocation has been completed and final touches on the skybridge and amenities spaces are currently in progress; Tenants are now able to use the skybridge entrance. Planned exterior glass wall improvements on the first and second floors are currently underway. Construction activities including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC modifications are underway on the first and second floors. The conference room and restrooms on the first floor are under construction and temporarily unavailable.

UPCOMING

  • Temporary walls remain in place in the first-floor lobby and a temporary walk path will be installed.
  • The first-floor main entrance will be closed for the duration of Phase II, with all building entry and exit now routed through the skybridge on the second-floor.
  • A tenant travel path map will be distributed, and directional signage installed throughout the property. Click on the link to see the map
  • Garage elevator upgrades are scheduled to begin in July; the garage elevator will be temporarily taken out of service.
