According to the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), The Treehouse Memorial City is the highest-rated LEED building in Texas and the second highest in North America. The project, which received double-LEED Platinum certification for both Core and Shell and Interiors, features geothermal heating and cooling, daylight harvesting for lighting adjustments, solar panels, rainwater collection for landscaping, and a rooftop garden.
