Memorial City Place Renovations
MetroNational is making major upgrades to the first and second floors at 9821 Katy Freeway, enhancing functionality while elevating the overall aesthetic.
The renovation project has begun with an estimated duration of 10 months. Construction will occur in phases to minimize disruption. Phase I will include the skybridge and surrounding landscape and hardscape, followed by Phase II, which will address the exterior curtain wall, primary entrances, and additional outdoor improvements. The building will remain open and accessible throughout, with a temporary overhead walkway and construction fencing in place to ensure a safe, seamless experience for tenants and visitors.

Alternate Travel Paths - Phase 1
the following access changes will be in place as part of Phase I:
All tenants, visitors, and deliveries must enter and exit the building through the Main Lobby entrance only.
The second floor Skybridge entrance/exit and the first floor side entrance/exit will be temporarily closed.
When parking in the garage, access to the building will require proceeding to the first floor and entering through the main lobby.
Please refer to the map outlining construction zones and alternate travel routes. On-site signage is currently posted throughout the property to assist with navigation.
Monthly Progress Report
Phase I of the renovation project is approximately 85% complete.
Progress continues on the second-floor skybridge relocation, including installation of the glass on the skybridge; the temporary wall on the second floor has been removed.
Planned exterior glass wall improvements on the first and second floors are currently underway.
Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC modifications remain ongoing on the first and second floors in preparation for future amenity spaces.
Build-out of the first and second floors amenity spaces is currently underway.
Construction activities are underway in the first-floor corridors, including in conference room and restrooms, which are temporarily unavailable at this time.
Construction activities are underway in the second-floor corridors, including ceiling and wall preparation work.
Demolition work has begun on the second-floor elevator lobby.
